After two decades of dedicated service, Tom Docker, Managing Director of Middlemarch, has announced his intention to step down from his role in June 2026.
Since joining Middlemarch 20 years ago, and taking the helm as Managing Director in 2021, Tom has been instrumental in growing Middlemarch into one of the UK’s leading ecology consultancies. His leadership has seen the company navigate complex industry shifts while maintaining a steadfast commitment to ecological excellence and team culture.
“Being part of the Middlemarch journey has been the honour of my professional life,” said Tom. “I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built and the impact we’ve made on the natural environment. As I prepare for my next chapter, I’m focused on ensuring a seamless transition for our clients and colleagues during our busiest season yet.”
To support this transition, Middlemarch has appointed Andrew Hilbert as Chief Operating Officer to support our team and ensure we remain fully resourced to deliver what we do best: providing expert ecological solutions during our busiest time of the year.
